This same fire exists in another form within us, as the digestive and vital fire within the body. It is the sacred syllables (Aksharas) that have the power to ignite this inner fire. This is why it is said that Akshara itself is fire.

Through this fire, we attain knowledge and good health.
The Pratyangiras represent this very fire. The Pratyangira Pooja is a sacred observance in which Akshara Pratyangira is worshipped in the morning and Ugra Pratyangira in the evening, thereby kindling this inner radiance.

Acharyan – Ashan Vinod Gurukkal

There are only two beings who are unaffected by the influence of Shani—Lord Ganapati, who overcame Shani through divine wisdom, and Lord Hanuman, who defeated Shani in battle.
After binding Shani, Hanuman sought a boon from him: “May my devotees never be affected by you.”

This means that by receiving the blessings of Lord Hanuman, one can be protected during the nineteen-year period in which Shani influences every individual.

The foundation of Indian culture is the Vedas, and its ultimate goal is the realization of the Supreme Being.
For attaining God-realization, there are three important paths: the paths of Karma (action), Jnana (knowledge), and Bhakti (devotion). Among these, the path of Bhakti is considered more simple and, therefore, more practical for the common person.

Sā cāsmin parama-prīti-rūpā” (Śrī Nārada Bhakti Sūtra) — Bhakti is defined as the supreme love or affection that arises in us towards the Lord of the universe. The nine modes of Bhakti Yoga—listening to sacred stories or hymns, chanting, remembrance, service at the divine feet, worship, salutation, becoming a servant of the Lord, friendly devotion, and total self-surrender—are harmoniously brought together in the Śrī Mahā Śrī Chakra Navāvaraṇa Pūjā, a unique Tantric ritual performed for the fulfillment of all noble desires, attainment of prosperity, protection of the nation, and the welfare of the world.

The Śrī Mahā Śrī Chakra Pūjā is conducted under the chief priesthood of Brahmaśrī Mullappalli Krishnan Namboothiri, President of the Aluva Tantra Vidyapeetham and a renowned Tantric Acharya, and is accompanied by musical offerings, dance offerings, and Vedic hymn recitations.

As part of the ritual offerings, the musical archana features the rendering of the Śrī Chakra Navāvaraṇa Kritis composed by Śrī Muthuswami Dikshitar, one of the greatest luminaries of Indian classical music. These compositions are sung by the eminent musician Brahmaśrī Kasaragod Yogeesha Sharma.
