The Tirunavaya Mukunda Temple was consecrated by the Navayogis. When the Mahā Māgha Mahotsavam returns after 250 years with its ancient dharmic grandeur, for the welfare of the world, remembering the Navayogis with gratitude, the Māgha Mahotsavam pandal will resound with the divine name “Om Namo Nārāyaṇāya” chanted nine crore times.
That is, from morning until night, without interruption, many people will sit together and chant the name of Nārāyaṇa. Anyone may take part in this. Even those who are unable to come directly to Tirunavaya can participate in the same spirit by chanting the name of Nārāyaṇa from wherever they are in the world.
The number of chants is not the main concern. It is about the entire world, with a single mind and unified intent, entering into an unbroken chant of Nārāyaṇa’s name…
